About the Program

Discover the Game of Lacrosse

Looking to introduce your child to the exciting game of lacrosse? Our Intro to Lacrosse program is designed for young players who are new to the sport and ready to learn the fundamentals in a fun, welcoming environment.

Through age-appropriate instruction, kids will learn the basics of cradling, passing, catching, scooping ground balls, and shooting while developing coordination, confidence, and teamwork. The focus is on having fun, building new skills, and discovering a love for the gameβ€”no previous lacrosse experience is necessary!

Sessions will take place indoors on turf at Longfellow in Wayland, with each session lasting 50 minutes. It's a great opportunity for young athletes to try something new, stay active, and learn the game in a supportive setting.
