More Than a Sports Program.
Be Ahead of the Game is a youth sports organization that offers soccer and multi-sport programs for children of different ages and skill levels across communities in Massachusetts. Our focus has always been simple: create positive experiences through movement, play, and sport while helping kids build confidence, coordination, social skills, and a love for being active. Founded in 2003 by Brian Kelly, Be Ahead of the Game began with a single preschool class, one local clinic, and a small soccer camp in Weston. It quickly grew into a mobile program designed to bring high-quality sports experiences directly to schools and communities. Over 20 years later, BAOTG now serves dozens of schools, preschools, after-school programs, and families through clinics, camps, private training, and more.

What we do today is a natural extension of how Be Ahead of the Game began. Soccer is at the core of our programming, with a strong emphasis on age-appropriate development across many of our programs. We also offer dedicated soccer and basketball clinics for players looking for more focused instruction.
Alongside our clinics, we run preschool and early childhood programs that introduce young children to movement through fun, structured activities that build coordination, balance, and basic sport skills. We also offer after-school and multi-sport programs that expose kids to a wide variety of games and activities, including playground games, kickball, baseball-style activities, and team-based challenges.
All of our programs are designed to be organized, engaging, and fun, giving kids a positive and active experience each time they step onto the field or into a class.

Brian founded Be Ahead of the Game in 2003 with a vision to create positive sports experiences for kids. With over 20 years of coaching and teaching experience, he continues to shape the direction and values of every program.
Coach U, works cross multiple programs, helping plan, organize, and lead sessions throughout the year. He focuses on player development, confidence, and creating structured, positive experiences for every group.
Coach Evan plays a key role in our basketball programs while also supporting a variety of other sessions. He brings a calm and organized approach, helping kids stay engaged, active, and confident.
Coach Jack is part of our growing team and is developing as a coach through hands-on experience across different programs. He brings great energy and is building strong connections with the kids.
